The 2018 Acura MDX comes with three rows of seating and can comfortably accommodate up to seven passengers on its base trim. On the Advance package, the second-row bench seat is swapped out for plush captain's chairs, reducing the seating capacity to six. When not in use, the third row can be folded completely flat into the floor, which maximizes cargo storage space while continuing to provide seating for four or five passengers (depending on the trim level).
The 2018 Acura MDX is loaded with tech features. Even on the Standard package, drivers and passengers alike will enjoy seamless smartphone integration, Bluetooth® connectivity, a seven-inch touchscreen, and a robust eight-speaker sound system. On upgraded trims, such as the Entertainment package, you'll find additional tech features that include a DVD-based rear entertainment platform with a 16.2-inch screen and an upgraded 12-speaker sound system.
The 2018 Acura MDX is available in three distinct trim/package options, each offering different features. These trims include the Standard package, the Technology package, and the Advance package. Regardless of trim, every 2018 MDX is equipped with a standard 3.5L V6 engine at 290 hp, as well as a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The 2018 Acura MDX's cabin was designed with comfort in mind. Despite accommodating up to seven passengers, this SUV manages to avoid feeling cramped. While its third row may be better suited for children and/or smaller adults, the first and second rows on the 2018 MDX offer a surprising amount of headroom and legroom. Meanwhile, standard heated seats in the front row keep drivers and front-seat passengers cozy on cooler days.
Every 2018 Acura MDX trim comes standard with a wide range of driver-assistance features (known as AcuraWatch™) to enhance your driving experience. These features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and lane/road departure warnings with mitigation.
