2017 Cadillac XTS review

1. Vast and well-equipped interior space 

Step into the cabin, and you’ll find that the 2017 XTS is just as large on the inside as it appears on the outside. You'll get space for five passengers, with 42.1 inches of front seat legroom and 40 inches of rear seat legroom. To top it all off, comfort features like dual-zone automatic climate control and leather seat surfaces are included as standard.  

2. Equally generous trunk 

Not only will you and your passengers love the spacious cabin, but you’ll also appreciate the equally capacious trunk as well. Behind the rear seats is a very useful 18 cu-ft of cargo volume, enough to fit holiday luggage or even golf clubs with ease. Should you need more storage space, the 60/40 split-folding rear seats include a lockable cargo pass-through, which opens up to expand the cargo volume for larger items.  

3. Powerhouse turbo V6 engine available 

Two 3.6L V6 engines are available on the 2017 XTS, and for the best balance of daily cruising and exciting performance, the optional turbocharged engine is a must. It packs 410 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, and all models equipped with this motor come with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. You’ll appreciate the smooth power delivery when overtaking on the highway, and you’ll also love the acceleration away from the lights, with a zero-to-60 mph time of just 5.4 seconds. 

4. Comfortable and composed ride 

All 2017 XTS models come kitted out with adaptive suspension dampers and rear air springs with automatic leveling as standard. These parts work together to provide an effortlessly smooth ride, helping to iron out bumps in the road and make every journey as comfortable as possible. However, should you want to have some fun on a twisty back road, this suspension with the all-wheel-drive system are a great combination if you're looking for maximum handling and grip.
