The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica offers plenty of space as both a family carrier and, with its fold-flat seating, a van for heavy-duty lifting and shifting. But for all its practicality, the 2019 Pacifica proves appealing and even attractive, which is unusual in the minivan category. Thank Chrysler's smart design inside and out as well as upscale materials and a generous level of equipment starting with the base model. Trim levels encompass L, LX, Touring, Touring L, Touring L Plus, and Limited. All but the L can seat eight and, with Chrysler's clever Stow 'n Go® system, stow the second- and third-row seats under the floor quickly and easily.
For that reason we'd suggest LX as the entry point, but recommend the Touring L as a good choice because it offers the smartest balance of desirable features and convenience equipment. All trims are powered by either a 3.6-liter V6 or a version of the V6 with an electric motor and battery pack in the Pacifica Hybrid, introduced for the first time this year. Either offers good performance, and the hybrid is able to run on battery power alone for short, local trips. Comfortable and refined, the Pacifica won't excite behind the wheel, but it also won't frustrate, and when all those seats are occupied, that’s a good thing.
The L trim comes standard with 17-inch steel wheels with covers, foldaway heated power side-view mirrors, manual air conditioning, a power second-row, a third-row Stow 'n Go bench seat, and more.
The LX trim features 17-inch aluminum wheels, three-zone manual temperature control, an eight-way power driver seat with four-way power lumbar support, second-row Stow 'n Go bucket seats with in-floor storage bins, driver-door remote proximity, and more.
The Touring Plus trim boasts power sliding doors, a power liftgate, three-zone automatic temperature control, remote start system, cloth upholstery, and more.
The Touring L trim includes second- and third-row retractable shades, heated front seats, McKinley perforated leather upholstery, a Stow 'n Place roof rack, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and more.
The Touring L Plus trim comes standard with 17-inch polished aluminum wheels, power front and rear one-touch up and down windows, eight-way power front-passenger seat, 8.4-inch touchscreen display with navigation, a 13-speaker Alpine® audio system, and more.
The Limited trim features 18-inch polished aluminum wheels, ventilated front seats, a third-row power-folding Stow 'n Go bench seat, premium Nappa leather upholstery, driver seat with memory, and more.
The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica offers one capable powertrain: a 3.6L V6 with 287 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. It connects to a front-wheel-drive system and a nine-speed automatic transmission that returns an EPA-estimated 22 mpg combined.
Whether driving through the drop-off lane or merging onto the highway, the Chrysler Pacifica delivers premium ride comfort with smooth handling. The 2019 model was re-engineered from the ground up with a platform that is designed to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness for a more tranquil on-road experience. The 2019 Pacifica's body structure is also light and stiff, which lessens body roll, aids in cornering, and absorbs road imperfections for a silkier ride. The vehicle certainly drives like a dream.
Do you often load up a trailer with landscaping materials, transport antique market finds, or pull your family's camper? The Chrysler Pacifica has the hauling power you need. With the 3.6L V6, the 2019 Pacifica can tow an estimated 3,600 lbs. when properly equipped.
The Pacifica's versatile Stow 'n Go seats allow you to customize the interior to suit your passenger- and cargo-carrying needs. All 2019 models come standard with a third-row Stow 'n Go seat that easily folds into the floor, freeing up 87.5 cubic feet in the trunk. However, if you opt for the 2019 LX trim or higher, the standard second-row Stow 'n Go bucket seats also boast clever in-floor storage compartments to carry extra belongings while the seats are in use. By stowing both rows, you'll have access to a maximum of 140.5 cubic feet of volume and a flat cargo floor that can hold a stack of four-by-eight-foot boards. The 2019 Pacifica also offers a huge array of cupholders, cubbies, and magazine slots to keep your smaller items organized.
The 2019 Pacifica lets your rear-seat passengers fight bouts of boredom with the available Uconnect® Theater with Wireless Streaming Package, which comes standard on the Touring L Plus or optional on Touring Plus and Limited trims. With this in-car entertainment system, you get two 10-inch touchscreens with headphone jacks and nine built-in games and apps, as well as a Blu-ray® DVD player so your kids can watch their favorite movies. A 115-volt outlet is also included, along with charging ports in all three rows to keep devices charged. While your passengers are content, you'll enjoy the driver's cockpit, which boasts an in-dash 8.4-inch touchscreen display with a Uconnect 4C NAV system with Bluetooth® connectivity, navigation, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capabilities (2019 Touring L Plus and Limited trims).
