Chrysler extensively revised its useful minivan in 2021, so changes for the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica are limited to a few equipment tweaks in the trim levels. The lineup remains Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle, and all trims come with comprehensive equipment and the same suite of advanced driver convenience and safety features. In our view, the Touring L offers a nice mix of convenience and luxury features at an attractive price. The Touring L also offers the option of all-wheel drive, though all Pacificas come standard with front-wheel drive and a powerful V6 engine. A plug-in hybrid model allows for battery-only driving on shorter trips.
Inside, there's plenty of space for up to eight, with rear seats that quickly and conveniently fold under the floor via Chrysler's Stow 'n Go® seating system. Overall space isn’t quite as good as in some rivals, with the Honda Odyssey offering a bit more capacity, but you aren't likely to notice. The Pacifica’s easy-to-use infotainment and connectivity count in its favor, while its upscale feel and finish inside and out elevates it among more utilitarian rivals. Capable and comfortable to drive, the Pacifica is a minivan that you might actually desire. That's unusual in this most practical of vehicle classes and boosts its appeal versus not just minivan but also many SUV competitors.
The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica is a minivan that evolves as life changes. It can start out as a weekend adventure vehicle for singles hauling camping supplies or a kayak—just use the Stow 'n Go® seating system. Are you planning a friend's road trip? You've got second-row and third-row seating to accommodate up to eight passengers. And if you have a family, there's plenty of room for kids and pets, plus that neighbor kid who always tags along!
With a robust V6 engine under the hood and front-wheel drive, the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica can easily tackle everything from rainy roads to snowy streets. Choosing this weather-ready vehicle means you can get the kids to school on time, every time. Available upgrades include an AWD option—perfect for navigating rural gravel roads—and an optional built-in vacuum to tidy up after dirty shoes and whatever the dog tracked into the van.
Whether you're looking for a spacious vehicle for business travel or you simply want to plan more getaway weekends, you can do so knowing that fueling up won't break the bank. The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica gets an EPA-estimated 28 mpg fuel economy on the highway with FWD and 25 mpg with AWD.
Don't let the minivan exterior fool you. The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica offers as many connectivity features as sedans and SUVs. You'll find a touchscreen display, device charging ports, and optional integrations for all your family must-haves, including Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, Amazon Fire TV for Auto, and Amazon Alexa™ integration. That means you can stream music, videos, and movies from your mobile devices to the van, keeping passengers of all ages happy. There's also an optional rear-seat dual touchscreen upgrade to entertain backseat passengers.
The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica is loaded with standard features that make driving this larger vehicle a breeze. If you're a parent giving your teen driving lessons, you'll appreciate the 360-degree camera system, distance sensors, and self-parking feature for parallel and perpendicular spaces. And if you're navigating busy interstate on-ramps, you'll also appreciate the blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert and lane keep assist.

The Pacifica that's right for you will depend on what you're looking for in a minivan. If you don't need a lot of bells and whistles, then the base Touring trim may be suitable. It offers standard features that include smartphone integration, Stow 'N Go seating, and tri-zone climate control.
Meanwhile, if you're looking for a minivan that's decked out with luxuries, then the Pinnacle trim may be right for you. This trim comes with features like a surround-view camera system, automated parking sensors, a premium 18-speaker sound system, wireless device charging, and a panoramic sunroof.
If you prefer something in between the base trim Touring trim and the Pinnacle, check out the Touring L. This trim takes the standard features of the base trim and adds some indulgences that include leather upholstery, heated front seats/steering wheel, and driver seat memory settings.
Another mid-tier trim to consider is the Limited, which takes the features of the Touring L and adds a premium 13-speaker sound system, heated/ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a built-in navigation system. This model also gets a hands-free liftgate and power-sliding doors for your added convenience.
As a minivan, the Chrysler Pacifica has several competitors in its class. Some examples of vehicles that are similar to the Chrysler Pacifica include the Honda Odyssey, the Toyota Sienna, and the Kia Sedona.
