Full-size SUV with potent V6
The big news for the 2015 model year was the switch from a standard V8 to a new turbocharged V6 engine. Have no fear, the new engine is much more potent than the V8, with 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Add seating for eight and a robust towing capacity, and you're in for more adventurous weekends with family and friends. Choose between the standard-size Expedition and the extended-wheelbase Expedition EL (15 inches longer). Both are available in XLT, Limited, King Ranch, and (a new for 2015) Platinum trim.

5 reasons to buy the 2015 Ford Expedition
1. Potent turbo V6
If you lament the loss of the V8 engine from 2014, consider taking a second look at the specs for the new turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine. While the outgoing V8 had 310 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, the new engine gets 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. That means you can tow up to 9,200 pounds of weekend fun when properly equipped.
2. Lot of room
Seating for eight passengers is already a great recipe for more adventures. Depending on the number of passengers, you can opt to haul a ton of gear as well, with 18.6 cu-ft behind the third row in the standard Expedition and 42.6 cu-ft in the EL. There's a lot more space available in the 2015 Expedition; you'll find a maximum of 108.3 cu-ft in the standard Expedition and 130.8 cu-ft in the Ford Expedition EL, both with the second and third rows folded.
3. Loaded standard trim
The base XLT of the 2015 Expedition is anything but basic. It has a ton of standard comfort and convenience features, such as cruise control, air-conditioning, a six-way power driver seat, a 4.2-inch center display, a rearview camera, power-adjustable pedals, a sliding and reclining 40/20/40-split second-row seat, and a fold-flat third-row seat. So, even if you come across a 2015 Expedition XLT on our lots, you can rest assured that it'll be very well-equipped.
4. Upgraded trims
There are some excellent trim levels available at the top of the range. Check out the Expedition Limited and top-spec King Ranch versions of the standard-length Expedition and the EL. Search for the Limited, which has front parking sensors, power-folding mirrors, heated second-row seats, and a wood-trimmed steering wheel. The top-of-the-range King Ranch and Platinum trims are similar to the Limited but add premium leather upholstery, a wood-grain interior trim, a special paint scheme, and upgraded headlights.
5. Options too
The 2015 Expedition XLT is a great trim and has some upgrade options. Find the 201A package, and you'll get leather upholstery (first and second-row), automatic wipers, a power liftgate, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped shift knob, an eight-way power driver seat, a power-folding third-row seat. Or check out the 202A package, which adds options like a heavy-duty trailer tow package, heated and cooled front seats, and an eight-way power passenger seat with power lumbar adjustment.
