5 reasons to buy the 2017 Hyundai Sonata
1. Sleek design
The 2017 Sonata is part of the seventh generation (2015–2019) of Hyundai's great midsize sedan. With a sleek design and dynamic lighting, the 2017 Sonata would look fantastic parked in your driveway or at a valet stand. The Sonata's sleek shape, plus a standard rear lip spoiler and an underbody cover, were also engineered to help improve fuel use out on the highway.
2. Eco and hybrid options
Speaking of fuel economy, the 2017 Sonata has multiple models to help you make fewer trips to the pump. The Sonata Eco has a 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder with 178 hp and boasts an EPA-estimated 28 mpg city and 36 mpg on the highway, while the Sonata Hybrid has a 193-hp 2.0L engine, and in the SE trim, gets an even better EPA-estimated 42 mpg combined city/highway.
So, if fuel economy is on your mind, take a look at all the great options available on the 2017 Sonata.3. Great engine options
Beyond the fuel-focused Eco and Hybrid, there are other great engine options. The base 2.4L four-cylinder delivers a peppy 185 horsepower on base, SE, Sport, and Limited models. If you are looking for more power, check out the optional 2.0T models (Sport and Limited) which come with a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder producing a stout 245 hp and 260 lb-ft. of torque. There is definitely an engine to match your driving style in the 2017 Sonata.
4. Luxury trim
If you are looking to max out your comfort and convenience features, check out the 2017 Sonata Limited. It is available with the base 2.4L engine, the optional 2.0L turbocharged engine, or the hybrid powertrain. The Limited trim looks good too with leather upholstery, wood grain trim, LED taillights, trim-specific 17-inch alloy wheels, and dual-zone automatic climate control just to name a few.
5. Even more upgrades
If all of that isn't enough, you'll find a host of upgrade packages available on our lots. Look for a 2017 Sonata Limited, which includes the Tech Package to get HID headlights and a larger eight-inch touchscreen (vs. the standard seven-inch), Infinity® premium audio system, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and more. Meanwhile, the Ultimate Package delivers a bunch of great driver aides like automatic emergency braking, automatic high beam assist, smart cruise control, and several others. Or go with the 2.0L Limited and get all the packages as standard equipment.
