It's a good choice if you're an adventurer seeking a compact SUV with genuine off-road prowess.

2. Range of features

The 2017 Compass showcases a completely revamped design, both externally and internally. The new styling cues offer a contemporary look, while the interior benefits from an improved layout and technology, including the available 8.5-inch Uconnect® touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto connectivity. The Latitude trim adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, while the Limited trim gives you heated front seats with leather upholstery throughout.

3. Plenty of cargo space
