The 2018 Jeep Compass is a small SUV that's big on practicality. Available 4WD will keep you glued to the road as you head out on an adventure or swing by the store for groceries on a rainy afternoon. Inside the Compass, you'll appreciate the flexibility of the 60/40 split-folding seats, allowing you to carry both passengers and their stuff. Plus, you can drop the cargo floor down to accommodate taller items. Behind the rear row, you'll find 22.7 cu-ft of space, which opens up to 59.8 cu-ft with the seats folded.
There are two types of four-wheel drive on the 2018 Jeep Compass, and all models can be found with full-time 4X4 capability. This gives you access to Snow, Sand, Mud, and Auto driving modes through the Selec-Terrain® system. If you want to go a step further, take a look at the Trailhawk trim, which adds a Rock mode for even trickier terrain. On top of this, you'll get hill-descent control and off-road suspension.
Whether you're heading to a campsite for the weekend or trekking through the wilderness with friends, the 2018 Jeep Compass has you covered. Alongside its 4X4 capabilities that will keep you rolling over mud and grass, the Compass brings nature to you with an available panoramic sunroof. Regardless of whether you're parked or taking the path less traveled, your passengers will have a great view of the world around them.
As you climb the trim levels of the 2018 Jeep Compass, you'll gain access to a range of luxury features, including LED interior lighting, 12-volt exterior power, and driver-assistance features (all on the Latitude trim). Every trim has Bluetooth® connectivity as standard, but you'll need to step up from the base trim to get Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. Look for other available features such as a premium sound system, adaptive cruise control, and heated front seats.
There's just one engine option for the 2018 Jeep Compass—a 2.4L engine with stop/start technology. With front-wheel drive and a manual gearbox, the Compass gets an EPA-estimated 26 mpg combined and is great for highway driving, where you'll get 32 mpg.
