A real beaut

The 2019 Kia K900 is a redesign over previous years’ models, and it shows that Kia was listening to feedback. It brought in new exterior and interior styling, Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ integrations, LED ambient lighting, and other modern amenities that bring the K900’s convenience and comfort profile in line with modern standards. This is a cruiser with a 365-horsepower heart — capable of putting the pedal to the metal, but just as content to take it easy on the open road. Just one trim and one upgrade package tell it to you straight, letting you browse the used car market without confusion.

5 reasons to buy the 2019 Kia K900

1. Elegant simplicity

To debut its redesigned K900, Kia kept it simple with one trim to rule them all, the Luxury V6, with one upgrade package, the VIP Package. That makes it a breeze to compare features and make a buying decision with confidence. The 2019 Kia K900 will fill you with confidence, from its more masculine grille and front bumper to its suite of driver-assist features to its mature, professional color options. Measuring 75.4 inches across with 19-inch wheels, it stands firm in luxury sedan territory.

2. An impressive makeover

The 2019 Kia K900 makes major changes from previous years’ models that are worth considering when looking at luxury vehicles on the used car market. The K900 is an all-wheel drive luxury sedan that comes standard with Nappa leather seat trim with quilted accents in black, brown, and beige, a chocolatey dark brown, and a reddish sienna brown hue. All colorways come with real wood interior accents. LED ambient lighting in 64 possible colors lets you set the mood, while the arrival of Apple CarPlay® and Android Autointegration to the K900 ensures you’ve got the most modern infotainment amenities.

3. VIP Package adds stylish comfort

The sole upgrade package adds a few nice-to-haves that give this sedan more longevity on the resale market. For instance, whereas the Luxury V6 trim has power-adjustable seats for the driver and front passenger, the VIP Package extends those privileges to the rear seats. All seats are heated, but the VIP brings ventilation to the back row. The VIP also makes the rear headrests adjustable, brings in tri-zone climate control with a backseat console, installs a wireless charger in the back, and boosts the cabin’s style with premium suede headliner trim. These features may be worthwhile if you often have backseat passengers, especially ones with a taste for the finer things in life.

 4. Good performance for a big car

The 2019 Kia K900 is a confident cruiser with a 3.3L twin turbo V6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission that clocks in at 365 horsepower. Thanks to the all-wheel drive, it handles slick roads and inclement weather without much fuss, but you may find bumpy roads produce a busier ride. In terms of fuel economy, it gets an EPA-estimated 18 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city.

5. Looks nice, feels nice

Kia may be most famous for economy subcompacts and SUVs, but with the K900 the Korean automaker proves it can dress up for the occasion. The thoughtful touches in the 2019 K900’s interior and exterior show that it understands drivers’ thirst for refinement. The leather seats with contrast piping not only look good; they also come with multi-way power adjust and lumbar support, seat extension, heating and ventilation, and personalized climate control to maximize comfort. Those features are standard in the front bench and optional in the back, giving you the power to choose.
