The 2019 Lexus ES 350 is a reimagined, redesigned version of the traditional luxury sedan. Slightly wider and lower than earlier versions, the 2019 model has more room in the cabin and a sportier look. For the first time in 2019, the ES 350 comes in a variety of new trims, including the F-Sport, Luxury, and Ultra Luxury.
The 2019 ES 350 is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that produces 302 horsepower, an increase from previous versions. It also comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission rather than the traditional six-speed. It’s a great option for a powerful but luxurious sedan.
1. Choice of trims
For 2019, the Lexus ES 350 is available in a variety of trims. The base model includes a list of desirable standard features, but the Luxury trim adds more, like heated and ventilated seats, driver's seat memory, rain sensing wipers, and power tilt steering wheel with memory. The Ultra Luxury model includes even more amenities, such as a power rear sunshade, touch-free power trunk, and power closer and opener wit automatic kick sensor and easy closer door. The new F Sport trim offers a sportier look and feel with a luxury sedan.
Regardless of which trim you get, the 2019 ES 350 offers a new level of luxurious comfort. Many of the features that were previously optional are now standard. New in 2019, all trims include leather seats, memory seats, front seat heaters, A/C seats, remote start, rear sunshade, power hatch, rear spoiler, and a Pioneer sound system as standard equipment.
The 2019 Lexus ES 350 features a new infotainment system with an impressive 12-inch display screen. The new system uses a touchpad controller, which is an improvement over the joystick system included in earlier models. For the first time, the 2019 ES 350 offers Apple CarPlay® integration on models with the Premium Audio package.
Whether you need to carry luggage, golf clubs, a briefcase, or just your coffee mug and shopping bags, there’s ample storage in the 2019 Lexus ES 350. Inside the cabin, there are cup holders, a center console, and door pockets. The large trunk, spanning 13.9 cu-ft, has plenty of space for stowing larger items. If you’re planning to taxi kids or grandkids around, there’s no need to worry about space for car seats.
The Lexus brand is known for providing a quiet, comfortable ride and the 2019 Lexus ES 350 is up to the challenge. You’ll feel isolated from the road as you lounge in comfy, supportive seats that make you feel rested rather than stiff after a long ride. With 42.4 inches of legroom in the front seats and 39.2 inches in the rear, you'll have plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the ride.
