5 reasons to buy the 2021 Mazda CX-3

1. Well-equipped single trim level

No need to worry about trawling through lengthy feature lists and option packages; the 2021 Mazda CX-3 keeps things refreshingly simple with just one trim level. However, don't assume that this means the 2021 Mazda CX-3 is lacking in equipment, as that Sport trim offers a generous list of features, all as standard. These include automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver's seat, a six-speaker sound system, and an infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen, dial control, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto integration.

2. Generous & comfortable cabin

The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is proof that you don't have to sacrifice interior space in your subcompact SUV, managing to both be small on the outside, yet bigger — and very comfortable — on the inside. You'll get seating for up to five passengers, with 41.7 inches of front seat legroom and 35.6 inches of rear seat legroom. And thanks to an ultra-smooth ride, as well as the standard comfort features, the miles will pass by effortlessly for you and your passengers.

3. Plenty of driver convenience tech

If you enjoy your driver tech or just want maximum peace of mind when navigating busy streets and highways, the 2021 Mazda CX-3 comes well-equipped with a full suite of driver conveniences features all as standard. These include traffic-adaptive cruise control, which helps maintain a consistent gap between yourself and the car in front and forward collision warning with pedestrian detection. Also included are lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

4. Frugal standard engine

The 2021 Mazda CX-3 keeps things simple both on the feature list and under the hood, with just one trim and one engine available. But just as the CX-3 is generously well-equipped, the one engine on offer is a versatile and practical one too. It's a 2.0L four-cylinder producing 148 horsepower and paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. And best of all, in 2WD configuration, it is capable of achieving an EPA-estimated 31 mpg combined, 29 mpg in the city, and 34 mpg out on the highway.

5. Available all-wheel-drive

There aren't many features on the 2021 Mazda CX-3 that don't come as standard. However, there is one exception: while the standard model comes in a front-wheel-drive configuration, all-wheel drive is an available option. If you live in an area with frequent wet or snowy weather, or just want some extra grip and roadholding in slippery conditions, all-wheel-drive is a must.
