1. Apple CarPlay® connectivity 

While some carmakers require expensive options or subscription packages to access Apple’s CarPlay system, the Macan offers it as standard equipment. The CarPlay system in the Macan is accessed via a 10.9-inch touchscreen. This system allows you to access some of your favorite smartphone apps, including music streaming and navigation apps you may want to use on your next road trip.  

2. Standard driver aid systems 

You might expect the need to opt for higher trims or option packages to access driver aid systems, but Porsche has included several as standard equipment on the 2024 Macan. Adaptive cruise control maintains the distance between your Macan and the vehicle in front of you and is offered as standard equipment. Other standard driver aids on the 2024 Porsche Macan include forward collision mitigation and a lane departure warning system. 

3. Powerful engines  

Even at the base level, the Macan brings plenty of power to the table from its 2.0L four-cylinder engine. If you want to access some of the most powerful luxury SUVs on the market, you just need to opt for the twin-turbocharged V6 engines offered by the Macan. In the S trim, this engine is rated at 375 horsepower. In GTS guise, the Macan produces a robust 434 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more powerful compact SUV.  

4. Available Premium Package  

A long list of available equipment can be daunting, but Porsche makes it easy for you by bundling some of their most popular options into the Premium Package. This package includes niceties such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and upgraded headlights. If you want to quickly find a Macan with these desirable options, look for one with the Premium Package.  

5. Parking assistance available  

Buying an SUV doesn’t mean it needs to be tricky to park your vehicle. The Macan offers a smaller footprint than larger SUVs, making it more nimble in tight urban environments. It also offers optional equipment including a surround-view camera to provide a top-down view of the car, as well as an automated parking system to assist with steering inputs during parking scenarios.
