5 reasons to buy the 2020 Volvo XC60

1. Standard luxury

When you choose the 2020 Volvo XC60, you're opting for luxury, even in the base trim. All 2020 Volvo XC60s come standard with genuine leather upholstery and a panoramic moonroof. The nine-inch portrait-oriented infotainment display adds a unique and upscale touch to the dashboard. Even more luxuries—including Nappa leather and a Harman Kardon® sound system—are available on higher trims.

2. Plenty of driver-assistance features

The 2020 Volvo XC60 comes standard with lots of driver aids, including blind spot monitoring and traffic sign recognition. Want more support? Opt for the available active park assist, which identifies a parking spot and takes care of the steering while you control the brakes and gas. And if you regularly go long distances, you'll love the available adaptive cruise control, which offers even more support on the road.

3. Sporty appearance and performance

The 2020 Volvo XC60 has a sporty appearance and the engine power to back it up. The base engine is a 250-hp turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder. From there, the engine options just get stronger, with turbocharged, supercharged, and hybrid engine choices that produce up to 415 hp. Suffice it to say, you won't be bored driving the 2020 XC60, no matter which model you choose.

4. Available performance trim

If you want even more of a sporty feel from your Volvo XC60, opt for the T8 Polestar Engineered trim, which debuted in 2020. This plug-in hybrid has 415 hp and can blast from zero to 60 mph in under five seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new), offering an unmistakable thrill. This trim also has a manually adjustable suspension, so you can fine-tune your ride just how you like it.

5. Space for your toys

Not only is the 2020 Volvo XC60 attractive and powerful, but it's also functional. This luxury SUV has nearly 18 cu-ft of cargo space, enough for strollers, camping gear, or golf clubs. With any engine option, including the base 250-hp four-cylinder, the 2020 XC60 can tow up to an estimated 3,500 lbs., when properly equipped.

That's enough to haul your small camper or jet ski for a day of fun.
