The 2022 e-tron GT is a fully electric luxury sedan with a sporty coupe profile that shares its corporate platform with the Porsche Taycan. Available in base Premium Plus and available Prestige trim levels, the e-tron GT has an electric motor powering both the front and the rear (two total). It uses a 93-kWh battery pack and produces 469 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque from the all-wheel-drive system. This means it's is good for an EPA-estimated 238 miles of total range on a full charge.1 The 2022 e-tron GT is packed with the latest technology and loads of standard and optional comfort and convenience features.
Actually to say that it's "quick" is a bit of an understatement, all of that instant electric power means it's more than quick. Those horsepower and torque numbers jump to 522 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque when the car is using its temporary "Boost mode". That means the trip to 60 mph takes only 3.9 seconds (according to the manufacturer when new and using boost mode).
So the "sport" is covered, but how about the luxury? Well, the 2022 e-tron GT has a host of standard comfort and convenience features. The Premium Plus trim includes simulated leather upholstery, heated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, and three-zone automatic climate control. Fast and comfortable is a great recipe for a daily driver.
You would expect the 2022 e-tron GT to be full of the latest technology, and you would be correct. You'll get a standard configurable digital driver cluster display, a nicely sized 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoAuto™ smartphone integration, a navigation system, and a wireless charging pad with phone signal booster built in. The Prestige trim adds cool ambient lighting, a Bang & Olufsen® premium audio system, a surround-view camera system, and a head-up display to round out the tech upgrades.
If you click the "features" filter on our site you'll be able to dial in just the right features and options for your 2022 e-tron GT. Check out the Driver Assistance package that adds adaptive cruise control as well as lane keeping assist to the already impressive list of standard driver aids like forward collision mitigation blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and rear parking sensors.
The e-tron GT is sporty, even in base form, but look for the Performance package and you'll find even more to love. It has a trick torque vectoring system and rear-axle steering, both to help with traction and handling. You'll also get upgraded headlights to see what's coming on your favorite twisty road at night, plus black exterior trim and carbon-fiber interior upgrades.
