5 reasons to buy the 2023 BMW M4

1. Stylish coupe or convertible

The 2023 BMW M4 is available in both coupe and convertible styles, and features a ton of personality. You'll find standard race track-inspired touches like 19-inch rear wheels, a carbon-fiber roof, and a carbon-fiber trunk lid. If you opt for the M4 CSL Coupe, the features ratchet up significantly, with larger wheels and additional carbon-fiber body panels. Want to stand out even more? Check out the 13 available exterior colors, including the brilliantly bright Sao Paulo Yellow and Toronto Red Metallic.

2. Performance powerhouse

If the base engine on the 2023 BMW M4 is a turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder putting out 473 hp, how wild does the optional engine have to be? Well, the Competition coupe has a 503-hp engine, and you can even get it with optional AWD for extra grip. Or jump up to the top-trim CSL coupe and you'll get 543 hp under the hood. In short, your M4 certainly won't suffer from a lack of highway passing power. We

3. Highway and track comfort

For such a performance-focused car, the 2023 BMW M4 can also be a comfortable highway cruiser. The standard adaptive suspension can be set for comfort or performance, giving you the option to eat up miles on an epic road trip or attend a weekend track day. Find one with the optional carbon-fiber bucket front seats and you'll be held firmly in place amid all those latter g-forces during quick cornering.

4. Packed with tech

Engineers spent a ton of time building both street and track performance into the 2023 BMW M4, but they didn't stop there—you'll also get a fantastic standard navigation system, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto smartphone integration, and a nicely sized 14.9-inch center touchscreen. Optional tech includes a cool head-up display, the M Drive Professional package (includes track and performance displays), and much more.

5. More than just power

Having 473, 503, or 543 hp is great, but you need to be able to control all that power. Thankfully, the 2023 BMW M4 has a standard six-speed manual transmission (or an optional eight-speed automatic) to help put the power to the pavement. A standard electronic limited-slip rear differential helps improve traction, but you can shop for a model with optional upgrades like carbon-ceramic brakes, a track-tuned adaptive suspension, and more.
