5 reasons to buy the 2023 Audi A4

1. Luxurious standard features

As a small luxury sedan, even the base Premium trim on the 2023 Audi A4 is generously equipped. Standard features include wireless smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, heated front seats, leather upholstery, a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, a sunroof, and tri-zone climate control to keep everybody comfortable. Some driver-assistance features, including forward-collision mitigation and lane-departure warning, are also standard on the 2023 A4. Adaptive cruise control and lane-departure mitigation are standard on the Premium Plus trim.

2. Two turbocharged engine options

The 2023 Audi A4 is available with not just one but two turbocharged engine options. The standard engine is a 2.0L four-cylinder turbo at a respectable 201 hp. However, every trim is also available with an upgraded version of the same engine that cranks out 261 hp. Both are offered exclusively with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which delivers smooth and precise shifting.

3. Standard all-wheel drive

It's not often you come across a small sedan that comes standard with all-wheel drive, but the 2023 A4 does just that. Specifically, every A4 comes with Audi's quattro® AWD system, which is designed with torque vectoring technology to optimize handling and cornering—even in adverse road conditions.

4. Competitive fuel economy

Its small footprint, turbocharged engines, and dual-clutch automatic transmission lend the 2023 A4 to excellent fuel economy. With premium gasoline, the 2023 A4 base trim with a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive gets an EPA-estimated 28 mpg combined.

Even stepping up to a model equipped with the more powerful version of the turbocharged engine (like the S-Line) only results in a minuscule hit to fuel economy at an EPA-estimated 27 mpg combined.
Overall, this small sedan is a great choice for those who want to enjoy the best of both worlds: punchy performance and fewer stops at the fuel pump.

5. Spacious interior

Despite its small size, the 2023 A4 really shines with its spacious interior. Up to five passengers can sit comfortably in this sedan, and with 35.7 inches of rear legroom, the rear row is not reserved just for small children. In fact, that amount of legroom is comparable to what you would typically find in a midsize sedan. Meanwhile, the cabin is made even more comfortable with standard features like heated front seats, plush leather upholstery, and tri-zone climate control.
