Performance has always been near the top of the list of reasons to own an Audi, and there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that applies to the 2023 Audi A5, too. Powered by a base turbocharged 2L four-cylinder engine generating 261 hp, the A5 delivers a dynamic performance that's most notably felt through its quick acceleration, precise steering, and agile handling. You can also find the 2023 models with an even more powerful 261-hp engine option—it'll go from zero-to-60 in just 5.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 130 mph.
The 2023 Audi A5 has a lot to offer when it comes to comfort and functionality, as well. It comes in three body styles: coupe, convertible, and sedan, with the latter being the most spacious. The sedan has 41.3 inches of legroom and 37.7 inches of headroom in the front, with 35.1 inches and 37 inches of second-row legroom and headroom, respectively. It comes with a 21.8 cu-ft trunk, with a total cargo capacity of 35 cu-ft with the rear seats folded.
As you can expect from a luxury car brand such as Audi, the 2023 A5 is equipped with some of the latest tech features to make each trip as enjoyable and convenient as possible. For one thing, it comes standard with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® integration, on top of a seven-inch digital instrument panel display. There is also a three-zone automatic climate control system and power-adjustable and heated front sports seats. A ten-speaker audio system and Bluetooth® connectivity are also standard.
Aside from connectivity and entertainment features, the 2023 Audi A5 is fitted with advanced systems that are used to help drivers in certain situations and minimize the risk of accidents. The forward collision mitigation system, for one thing, is there to alert you of an imminent collision and apply the brakes under certain conditions. Also, standard on the A5 is lane-departure warning, which issues audio and tactile warnings in case your vehicle starts to move into another lane without the blinker on. Pedestrian detection and automatic high-beam headlights are also part of the standard equipment on the 2023 Audi A5.
As far as styling is concerned, the 2023 Audi A5 features an attractive exterior design that is complemented by a wide choice of beautiful color options. The four-door Sportback is probably the most appealing, with a sloping roofline that makes it look elegant, luxurious, and unique, but the Matrix-design LED headlights and the shield grille add a touch of aggressiveness and seriousness. You can choose between eight exciting exterior colors to round out the look with District Green Metallic and Navarra Blue Metallic as the stand-out choices.
