The 2020 Cadillac Escalade's 420-hp 6.2L V8 provides excellent power, whether pulling your trailer or carpooling kids to baseball practice. The engine pairs to a 10-speed automatic transmission with 2WD or available 4WD if you want an SUV that can navigate tricky conditions. Regardless of the drivetrain, the 2020 Escalade's 6.2L V8 can fly from zero to 60 mph in less than six seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new), making it very light on its feet for a body-on-frame SUV. With an estimated towing capacity of 8,300 lbs., when properly equipped, with the 6.2L V8 and 2WD, the 2020 Escalade is also a skilled hauler.
If you need a three-row SUV with room for people and belongings, the Escalade has a big cabin that you'll love. 2020 models come standard with seven-passenger seating, but the available second-row bench seat increases capacity to eight passengers. With all rows in place, you'll have 15.2 cu-ft of cargo volume for groceries and school bags (non-ESV model). However, capacity expands to 51.6 cubes by folding the third row or to 94.2 cubes with both rear rows folded (non-ESV model), giving you extra cargo space for your camping gear.
Need more stretch-out space and room for cargo? Bigger is better with the extended-length Cadillac Escalade ESV. Available on all 2020 trims, the ESV's wheelbase is 14 inches longer than the standard Escalade and boasts a greater overall length of 20 inches. With its elongated dimensions, you get almost 10 inches of extra legroom so adults can comfortably ride in the third row. The ESV also more than doubles cargo space behind the third row with 39.3 cu-ft of volume to carry coolers and sand toys for a day at the beach.
With the Cadillac Escalade interior, luxury and sophistication are always in reach. Supple leather upholstery and authentic wood trim appoint every 2020 model. There's also standard 12-way power-adjustable ventilated and heated seats, which provide year-round comfort for you and your front-seat passenger. The standard 16-speaker Bose Centerpoint surround sound system makes every ride an auditory experience, while second- and third-row passengers can enjoy an available rear-seat entertainment system on long road trips. Even loading the cargo area feels like a valet-worthy experience with the standard hands-free power liftgate and power-folding third row on all 2020 Escalade models.
The Cadillac Escalade offers many high-tech features to enhance your time behind the wheel. All 2020 models come standard with a surround-view parking camera system that provides a bird's-eye view when in reverse or driving at low speeds. Stepping up to the 2020 Cadillac Escalade Luxury adds more helpful features, like a color head-up display and camera-based rearview mirror for better visibility. Adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and reverse automatic braking are also included on the 2020 Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury and Platinum trims for extra confidence on your drive.
