The 2020 Chevrolet Suburban is a powerful and capable vehicle, thanks to the robust engine choices it's offered with. It comes standard with a 5.3L V8 engine that's paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and generates 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. This is already quite potent and perfectly sufficient for moving this large and heavy vehicle with ease, but there is one even more powerful option: a 420-hp, 6.2L V8 combined with a ten-speed automatic.
With such a powerful engine under its hood, the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban is capable of towing heavy loads without a problem. When properly equipped, it can tow up to an estimated 8,300 pounds with the 355-hp 5.3L V8 engine and rear-wheel drive.
On top of being able to tow all your toys, the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban has the capacity to haul a lot of cargo in the trunk itself, and the cabin as well. Behind the third row, it has 39 cu-ft of space, which increases to a maximum cargo volume of 121.7 cu-ft with the third- and second-row seats folded down. There is enough room there to fit a couple of dozen carry-on bags or several large suitcases, as well as a ton of groceries, or all your kids' and their friends' sporting gear.
When it comes to riding experience and overall quality, the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban doesn't disappoint at all. It's equipped with numerous tech features that come standard, making each ride as pleasant as possible for all passengers. For starters, it comes with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that's compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. To help you stay connected while on the road, it has five 12-volt outlets and five USB ports. Bluetooth® connectivity is also standard, and three-zone automatic climate control is there to increase the comfort of everyone in the cabin, no matter the weather.
Another important reason why someone would consider buying the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban is interior space and passenger comfort. Since it's a full-size SUV, there is no shortage of room for passengers in all rows, and the whole cabin is designed in a way that provides maximum comfort. Front headroom measures 42.8 inches, while front legroom is 45.3 inches. Passengers in the second and third rows can count on 39.1 inches of headroom and 39.7 inches of legroom.
