What We Like

Daily driving comfort: Believe it or not, the Ford Mustang is a handy and entertaining daily driver. The caveat is not to go overboard with performance extras that create a ride better suited to a racetrack than a typical daily commute. In city driving or for long highway stints, the Mustang is a willing dance partner.
Performance with the 5.0-liter V8: Simply hearing the exhaust note of the optional V8 makes it hard to resist ticking the option box to squeeze it under the Mustang’s prodigious hood.
Classic and retro cabin: Ford did a commendable job giving the Mustang an interior that pays homage to classic models but has all the features you want in a modern vehicle. A user-friendly touchscreen, smartphone connectivity, and USB ports all make this a proper old-meets-new pony car.

What Needs Improvement

Impractical rear seating: In a pinch, the back seat of the Mustang is OK for average-sized adults if the journey is short. But taller folks will not be happy back there for any length of time.
