5 reasons to buy the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE350

1. Space for the family

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 is a midsize SUV with more than enough space for you, your passengers, and any cargo. There is 33.3 cu-ft of trunk capacity with the rear seats in place, but fold them down, and you can liberate a very usable 74.9 cu-ft. There's a hands-free power liftgate for added practicality, and, although a five-seater in its standard configuration, an available third-row seat package gives you seven seats for those occasions when you need to transport the whole family.

2. A luxurious interior

Living up to its luxury SUV billing, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 has a high-end interior rich in sumptuous materials and finishes. The synthetic leather-trimmed and heated front seats have a 10-way power adjustment, with an available ventilation function. A variety of available wood finishes complement the new-for-2022 upholstery combinations that include Espresso Brown/Black leather and White/Black Nappa leather, lending the Mercedes GLE 350 cabin further touches of opulence.

3. Lots of technology

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 has a great level of onboard technology to keep everyone happy, whether on short trips to the grocery store, school, or longer highway journeys. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display look stunning and run the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system with voice control, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto, and Bluetooth® connectivity as standard. There are also five USB-C ports for everyone's devices, inductive wireless charging, and new for 2022, the headlamps now have automatic high beam adjustment.

4. RWD or AWD

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 is rear-wheel drive (RWD) as standard but has an available all-wheel drive (AWD) option if you need to drive off the beaten track. The 4MATIC® permanent AWD system gives you added confidence on wet roads or when you need more traction. This is great news if you live somewhere with wintry weather or simply want more grip when enjoying mountain curves.

5. Turbocharged engine

If you want a midsize SUV with balanced performance, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 is a good choice. The 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine has 255 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, and does zero to 60 in seven seconds (according to the manufacturer). The RWD GLE 350 also helps you go longer between fill-ups too, achieving an EPA-estimated 27 mpg on the highway, yet still has a maximum estimated towing capacity of 5,950 lbs when properly equipped.

The nine-speed automatic gearbox, with its steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, makes the GLE 350 easy and fun to drive, too.
